Created a new correspondence synching up decadal Census geographies. Python code and methodology to bepublished under “An Analysis of the Quality of the Neighborhood Change Database’s Weights".

Created a machine-learning algorithm to determine which local establishments best predict network formation for job searches

Compiled school district, voting, and Census public use data for dataset to determine which neighborhoods weremost likely to have local networks that facilitate job matching.

Researcher for Marianne Bitler, UC Davis, Christopher Carpenter, Vanderbilt (December 2011 – September 2013)

Compiled data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and the Surveillance, Epidemiology,and End Results (SEER) Program for papers on insurance mandates for oncology screenings and cancer incidence.

Compiled and cleaned natality data from U.S. Vital Statistics.

Analyzed large-scale employer data on health insurance mandate compliance and co-authored reports on adherence to the 2006 Massachusetts Health Care Reform Law. Reports were used by legislators to track the policy success.
